How quickly can you collect my goods?
We can usually collect the same day for dedicated express van deliveries across most of the UK and Europe. Our network of vehicles and drivers operates 24/7, so we can respond fast — whether you’re sending small boxes, single pallets, or full van loads.
How fast can you deliver to Europe?
Transit times depend on collection address, customs clearance, and distance. We will always provide the fastest available route for every shipment.
Our dedicated express delivery times are usually:
- Within 24 hours: Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland
- Within 48 hours: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Northern Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland
- Within 72 hours: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southern Italy, Sweden

Do you handle return loads or regular routes?
Absolutely.
We manage one-off express shipments, return loads, and scheduled deliveries across the UK and Europe. Our customers trust us for ongoing daily, weekly or monthly express transport, thanks to our reliability and knowledgeable team with 24/7 support.
Do you just offer transport or can you help with customs clearance too?
Yes, we can help with customs. Ahead of Brexit, in 2009, we welcomed Samphire Cargo to our group of companies. Samphire is an AEO-approved customs clearance agent with offices in Dover and Lesquin, France, giving us in-house expertise on both sides of the Channel.
Our teams handle a wide range of customs requirements including EAD, Regime 42, T1, and ATA Carnet documentation, among others. This allows us to provide a seamless transport and clearance service, ensuring compliance and efficiency for all import and export movements.
What weight can I load in the van?
The size of the van will dictate the payload. We operate a range of vans, every van is chosen to match your shipment size, weight and urgency.
Small vans – 140x100x100cms – 500 kgs
Sprinter van – 420x170x175cms – 1100kgs
Luton vans – 420x210x220cms – 1000kgs
Can you provide larger vehicles than vans?
Yes we can.
Our main company, Simpex Express provides a full range of vehicles for European road transport, from express vans up to full articulated trailers.
While our core service is express freight, we also offer standard services including groupage, part-load, and full-load transport. Additionally, we provide air and sea freight services with worldwide coverage, giving flexible solutions for all your transport needs.
What’s the difference between dedicated and co-loaded express vans?
A dedicated express van carries only your goods and travels straight from A to B – perfect for urgent, high-value, or sensitive shipments.
A co-loaded express van combines shipments heading in the same direction, offering a more economical option for non-urgent or smaller consignments while still being much faster than groupage freight.
Express Van only offers co-loaded van options for exports or imports to/from Europe.
